Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we begin the 2020-21 academic school year, I would like to welcome all the parents, guardians and children to another school year. If we haven't already met, please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Liz Rivera, and I am the Parent Coordinator, I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year via zoom meetings, emails and during arrival and dismissal. One of my responsibilities here at PS/MS 57 is to increase parent involvement.

This year will be a little different from all the others. Many of you have selected fully remote learning while others selected blended learning which has some in person days and we will keep social distance 6 feet away from each other.

As your parent coordinator, I am available to listen to your concerns regarding your child's education and offer my support.  I want you to know that I am here to give you the resources you need both inside and outside the school. The more involved you are in your child's education, the more successful your child will be. Parents, please remember that you are an important team member. I ask that you do your best to become actively involved in your child's education.
